The bad news is they still don't know how to treat you. But it does seem as if you made progress. There must be a class action law suit in here somewhere against the makers of the pill. By the way - I've heard a similar thing from my OB and current RE about my natural pregnancy last fall that ended in miscarriage. Both suggested that it may have been possible only because I was weaning from breastfeeding, causing my hormones to be in a state of flux. They also suggested that pregnancies that begin that way are almost always doomed. Boy, was that comforting. _More_ complicated? Geesh.
