Yay, yay, yay! And do ask them to dip your urine tomorrow just in case, could be round ligament pain, could be a UTI, no big deal either way though. I mean, unless it's the spearthrower thing because that would be kind of a big deal.

I don't know. The spear-thrower theory sounds pretty compelling.

don't worry about them. the little ones will get what they need. (see, how easy it is..all you needed was that statement from a stranger who has posted on your blog 4 times!)

Wonderful news on your test results!

I agree with the others -- eat what you can. And it sounds like you are doing plenty of dairy -- which is a source of protein! In fact, dairy has every amino acid you need to build all proteins. So its the perfect food. But consider going easy on the peanut butter, especially if you have ANY allergies or asthma in your families. I was exhausted and broke at the end of my pg and while nursing, and lived on PB. Now my son has the infamous peanut allergy. The current recommendations are no peanuts during pg, nursing or for the child until 3 YEARS old. Consider soy nut butter, its a good substitute.

Sorry for all the assvice. Have a great appt!

congrats on the great news!

that sharp pain sounds spot on for round ligament pain--- you're a bit early for it, but i'm sure the two babies are stretching you all up good and early. the good news is that usually it doesn't last too long (a week or two, and sometimes returns later in pregnancy). the crazy news is that the round ligament stretches from 2 inches to 12(!) during pregnancy. insane.

happy doc. appointment! eat ice cream! huzzah science babies!

I'm delurking to say congrats on your good test results today! I remember all too well the constant worry of a twin pregnancy. And mine was my 3rd time around. Having two in there is a whole different ballgame.

On a note of encouragement, my SIL is quite thin, was horribly sick during both pregnancies, and her (singleton) babies weighed around 9 lbs. Eat what sounds good to you!

Oh yeah, I HAD to drink coffee during my pregnancies. I figured the cup in the am and the cup in the afternoon was way better for the babes than falling asleep at the wheel.

You could have a UTI, from the way you describe things. Just make sure that gets checked on tomorrow.
