1. I agree with the posters to take advantage of the sympathy generated by a NICU baby. I milked it big-time. The bank should be able to give you a break.

2. I prided myself on never paying a bill late, never returning a library book late — who does that?! — never forgetting an e-vite or invitation. And then I became a mother. Sadly, it has not gotten any better despite my compulsive list-making and calendar-keeping.

That may not make you feel better, but at least you’re not the only one! Oh, and P.S. – how gorgeous is your daughter?!

She looks so beautiful!! I love the first bath (in the little pink bins)! I remember Jeffrey, all slippery and tiny. good times, good memory. :)
Don’t feel bad about the checking acct. I routinely screw myself. Most notably, when we went to Hawaii for a wedding. I accidentally entered my paycheck in the ledger twice. Yeah, that meant we ran out of money WAY before I thought we should. Oh well, you live, you learn.
