I am salivating for news, I must know! maybe this weekend you will have time to let us know how you are all doing. It must be so amazing to have her home with you. Reading about your travails has made me really appreciate the two wonderfully healthy babies that I’ve had, and my 31 week, no end in sight, current pregnancy. I admire and like you so much, Alexa, and think of you daily. Please let us know how you are when you have a chance. Even a sentence will placate me!

The months of april and may are wrought with sadness and anticipation for me, and i have not felt the emotional daring to check on wee, sweet simone…
i am so relieved to see, after my cloud clears, that she will be going home– arriving home, none the less, on the fifth anniversary of the day my daughter left this world.
this brings sweetness to this day in a way i had never imagined– the day that my daughter, whose life was never at risk until she died, left our home, will be the day that your daughter, whose life was so very much at risk, will return to hers.
how strangely the world works, and i am so very, very happy for you, for all of you, and remembering also your beautiful little ames.

Okay, so I do realize you’re in the midst of the joyous blissful stressful frenzy of having your baby at home at LAST, but I just have to say that I have now checked your blog five times so far today to see if there’s an update!!
