Don’t give up! Your white flag of surrender counts as a post, as does your clever WRITING of the title. I, for one, would really enjoy more chub-cheeked Simone photos, as would others, immediately forgiving you for a lack of witty banter. How about writing on movies that you’ve checked out on DVD’s – unless you’re in that parenting stage where you see one movie a year. How about writing about Bananas in Pajamas? What?! You’ve never heard of Bananas in Pajamas?! It’s only one of the most creative and absurd and sweet kids shows around. I don’t know if it’s still being shown, but you can get episodes on VHS, and they’re available on eBay. My personal favorite is Wish Fairies. Anyway, whatever you write, it’ll be fine.
Would it be considered a post if you just said “hi” and that was that! I agree, more pictures of Simone would be wonderful, especially in the process of her scootching around the floor on her back. What a cutie!
You can do this. It’s already the 22nd (probably the 23rd by the time you see this) – and this darn well counts. I don’t recall reading anything saying that the blog posts had to be long or elaborate. Just write a list of 5 adorable things Simone does on Sunday. Given that she’s not old enough to tap dance yet, you can include particularly cute burps, grunts, glances, or wiggles.
Oh honey, you can do it! Think of it this way–any time you’ll save by not doing this will be taken up by telephone calls keeping me posted on how you are doing…. One more week.
Oh come on Alexa, don’t quit! Like everyone else said, this counts as a post, and pictures of your little girl and your cats and other random images are perfectly legal in NaBloPoMo(an)!!!
Hang in there girl! You’re so close. How about a selection of Simone photos, each from a month apart, one posted per day? That ought to cover the remaining seven days…

That counts! You can do eeeeeet!
I am so with you. It was so much easier to do this last year – pre kid. Now I just want to sleep.
If you need an idea try the photo meme that I just did for today’s lazy, little-thought blog post.

Come on – don’t surrender! We’re almost there.

This totally counts and I’m only pissed because you beat me to it.
Off to do my post…

(a lurker who’s cheering you on)
Oh… and by the way. My husband and I have both been enjoying Pinguin today. I had a high of 326 and a low of 56. Thanks.
I am loving the crap outta this month, if only because of your posts. DON’T STOP!
Tell me about it. I have resorted to linking to other people’s posts. But we are so nearly there!! Yes, we can!!
Say it ain’t so!!!
It totally still counts.

You could always write about your pet peeves. Or family traditions. Possibly boring, but maybe interesting – a post is a post.
Pithy… You’re still here, girl!
Can I borrow that image and put it up in my reader?
Sigh.
Hmmm, you need cheering.
Yesterday I wandered around like I had good sense singing Little ‘Lectric Eel to My Cats. My fate as crazy cat lady is assured.

Excellent surrender flag pic. But if there is no one in the pic to see the flag does it still count as a surrender?
NNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Oh come ON, you have to do that last bit. You’ve almost made it. What about recipes?

Celia- it’s ok. I’ve totally done it too.
Don’t give up! NO SURRENDER!!! KEEP POSTING!!!
