This One’s For Jenni.

by Alexa on December 7, 2008

My dear friend just finished writing a WHOLE BOOK, so I felt some sort of congratulatory gift was in order. She is a vegan rollergirl with a Gilmore Girls fixation, and I admit I was stumped. I have been pausing occasionally in my work for the past two weeks to consider and discard various options: Kneepads? An Alexis Bledel t-shirt? A block of rare Andalusian tofu?

And then it came to me. So here you go, Jenni: 35 seconds of the very finest baby laughter, since you missed it before.

I’m pretty sure that baby laughter is the.best.sound.in.the.world! I would like to figure out how to make it my ringtone :)

HaHaHaHaHaHaHa! (repeat)

I was in giggles myself by the end of that;plus, that was the cure for a bad mood I was in tonight (alas, my wee lass was not so cheery this evening).

Thank you!

I thought I was the only one with a “Gilmore Girls” fixation! It’s good to know there are others out there. :)

My 3 year old made us watch it 4 times before I could leave a comment and is at my side asking for “that silly baby” again. SO CUTE!

Oh dear! Reading your blog with my 9 month old son on my lap. At the sound of Simone’s laughter, his head whipped around and he LUNGED for the computer. I think he’s besotted.

I laughed and cried, SO sweet and wonderful! She is brimming with joy. What was she laughing at, may I ask? Suddenly she stopped and was like grabbing at something. What a wonderful sound!!!!

oh what bliss! it’s the kind of laugh where i would be very afraid of peeing my pants… i guess with diapers that’s not a problem.

Re: baby o the week: oh my god she just keeps getting cuter and cuter! After extensive scientific research, I’ve come to the conclusion that preemies are exceptionally good looking, don’t you agree?

Re: twitter comment: does that mean a tooth finally showed itself? Mister Finn’s remain invisible… but menacing.
