Can I join you in Nerdtopia?

I turned down a date with a friend to see Harry Potter 6 to attend my weekly writer’s group. Two hours of critiqueing other people’s work and sharing my prompt is more exciting to me. My husband thinks I’m lame and my friend expresses doubts that I like her at all. I feel like a black sheep….who really likes reading and writing.

Oh, the shame. The shame!

Full disclosure: while I have never been able to use the term “my agent” without feeling ridiculously self-conscious, I must confess that that hasn’t stopped me from dropping it a time or two in choice company. Try it. You might like it. :-0
